From fear of brokenness to hope of restoration.

It kills me to see the extent to which there is brokenness around us. The wounds scream in their silence under the veils of smiling lips, beautiful clothes, sweet laughter and selfies. The sting burns, despite the camouflage of branded clothes, the jovial baritone voice, the expensive mobile phones and frequent credit card swipes.

When brokenness reveals that it’s this close, you shudder at its presence. Especially when a person who means a lot to you is its latest prey.

But we know that the ultimate victory is ours in Christ. What can separate us from his love?

But Jesus, at this moment it hurts to watch.
